Favorite Foods
Here are some of my favorite things to eat:
- Spicy Thai food with lots of basil (Thai Dishes in LA, Spice and Rice in San Diego, Malees in Scottsdale)
- Big hamburgers (In-N-Out in LA, Fatburger in LA and Colorado Springs, Red Top in Colorado Springs)
- Fish tacos (Wahoo’s in LA and Colorado Springs, Rubio’s in LA, that nameless place in Ensenada, Mexico)
- Carne asada (El Faro #1 in Orange County, Trader Joes brand)
- Pizza (Carne Asada at CPK, Buffalo Chicken at BJ’s, Hawaiian anywhere)
- Steak (Kansas City strip or filet, medium rare, preferably with au poivre sauce — OR — espresso rubbed)
- Spicy Rascal at the Corner Bagel in Anderson, SC
- Taco Sundays at the Smith house
Here are some of my favorite things to drink:
- Mountain Dew – green or orange
- Milk – 2%, please
- Dr. Pepper (on the rocks, with my dad)
- My mother’s chocolate and banana milkshakes
- Anything from Islay
- Naranjilla (small fruit from Ecuador) juice
- Sweet tea
