Favorite Authors & Books
This list should be absurdly long.
Every list must have a beginning, though… so here we go:
- C. S. Lewis – an astounding beginning for any such list
- Erwin McManus – this guy can motivate a concrete pylon to action
- Guy de Maupassant – some of the best short stories I have ever read
- Douglas Adams – will be funny well into consumer space travel
- Neil Gaiman – a very accomplished SciFi author
- J. R. Briggs – probably the only one on this list I can say I have met
- Paulo Coelho – a great fiction (or is it?) author that makes me think
- Lynne Truss – I get great enjoyment from reading what annoys her — because it annoys me
Zac,
I praise God for your openness and walk. So many of the things you have shared I believe are meant to be shared with cancer survivors at all levels. You are a survivor, Zac for our great physician holds all power of healing. IT IS FINISHED were words uttered at the cross that were meant for today too, whether by a snap of the Saviour’s fingers and instant healing or His taking your hand and draining the poison of this sinful world from your body.
I praise God for your transparency and your love. I pray for your family and those that know you. I look forward to meeting you in eternity. From one cancer survivor to another,
