Zac,

I pray you are next to God in Heaven watching over us all.
Thank you for the kind words you wrote to me in the spring, regardling my own loss.
I pray that God sees your family through and that they can move forward in ways that would make you very proud. Althought I never knew you, I can tell you are one of the good guys that we had here on Earth and God needed you more up there in Heaven.

There is a party happening in heaven now… Zac has graduated. I will never forget the impact he and Mandy both have had on my life serving as their Realtor and friend. They had big dreams… but none as big as what God had in store for them. Their story will continue to change lifes for eternity for ages. My love and prayers for Mandy and the kids as they walk through this next chapter of grieving, celebrating and remembering. Zac lived to the end fulfilling the chief end of man… glorifying God … even through death.

Hi, Zac, I am a follower of Christ and an outpatient center oncology nurse. As such, I administer chemo and support patients through their cancer walk continually. It is often such a hard walk. Our staff begins each day with prayer and we pray as we mix the chemo and I often pray with my patients when I begin their chemo. Sometimes I find myself questioning God as to why this disease must be allowed to wreak such havoc and heartache. And yet, I have to keep coming back to what you tell us…God is God. And He is good. Thank you for your message…it will help me share His love even more with my patients as they continue this journey. You are an inspiration, and I will be praying for you and your family.

Hey Zac, I don’t know if you’ll even read this, but I just wanted to let you know anyway.
I’m a student at Pacific Life Bible College and I stumbled upon your video last week on Matthew Paul Turner’s blog while pulling an allnighter. Needless to say, after about 22 hours of no sleep the video had a pretty deep impact on me. I showed it to my wife, friends at school, and just today to my Christian Counseling professor. The topic today was how to deal with the Bible and illness in counseling. Your story seamed relevant. He played it for the class and is going to use it for future presentations. I know you must get tons of these a day, but I figured everybody can use a little more encouragement. Thanks for sharing your story, it is impacting people.

We pray for you daily (here in California)….you and your family are really on my heart! This video was very touching not only because of your story but my Aunt died at 21 of colon cancer and both of my grandpa’s also battled colon cancer.

Zac,
I’m a friend of Lauren Rhodes.
Thank you for this video it gives me hope and strength.
I lost my husband to suicide in August of 2009 and have never experienced anything so painful in my life.
I have given my trust to God and he’s in charge, not me.
I’m praying for you and yours and I just wanted to say thank you.
