Chemo Song (Thanks, Oingo Boingo)

So my lovely wife Mandy had her uterus removed this morning. She is now home safe and sound. While she was in the recovery room I made my way over to the Cancer Center next door to get poisoned.

Here is a song; sung to the chorus of Oingo Boingo’s Only A Lad; written while I sit here in the chemo ward:

Chemo again;
I really don’t like it;
Chemo again;
I hope that it’s working;
Chemo again;
It gives me neverending grief;

Chemo again;
I hope it helps the pain leave;
Chemo again;
I didn’t want to do it;
Chemo again;
I’m thankful for the medicine;
But more for my God and His love.

    I can relate to the lyrics but not quite sure of the beat. I should have listened to the song first.

    I was diagnosed with similar cancer as yourself. A friend told me about your sermon that I have listened to many times. I’ve wanted to speak with you for some time now regarding your treatments.

    I pray Mandy is doing fine.

    Thanks in advance.
