You're so short it was hard to find you :) After looking back since you first got the news, I really thought this would be many years of ups and downs and the cancer just seemed too much. God must get a real kick out of what I think I know will happen. He is so good at proving me wrong. Just think - your kids have your incredible genes (their dad beat cancer, um, can it get any better?) along with your remarkable faith in Jesus. And not to take away any of the celebration from you, but that wife of yours deserves credit as well. I know she's worked hard at caring for you and your children. I don't know how to end this. "Congratulations" isn't the word I was looking for but since no one has invented a single word that covers all this emotion, I'll stick with "congratulations!" Absolutely amazing... My son Joshua will be sure to tell you that my dancing is probably somewhat more abbreviated in effort than John's but no less enthusiastically performed! I did yell a lot between tears though. That part I do very well indeed. We wanted you to know that Norman and I will be singing and lighting a candle in honor and now in celebration for you as a part of the Hope and Remembrance Chorale performance of the Cancer Association of Anderson's fund raising Concert on October 24th. I hope you, and your family, and others who have been following you locally can come. It will be a wondrous and uplifting evening.
