Thanks for sharing this Zac, and thank you for your impact in my life. There are ways that your life and Christ’s life through you have left a lasting impression. Through your honesty, your passion to know Christ, your listening, your words, your giving, your receiving, your hunger, your encouragement and your love, God has impacted my heart in ways that make a difference in this life and will carry on to the next. Christ comes through your eyes, your heart, your life and for that I say thank you. God has given me a great gift in knowing you, and through your life I can say that I know Him more because of the particular facet of who He is that He fashioned you to reflect to the world. I love you and continue to hold you and your family in my heart and prayers.

    Hi Zac,
I’ve been following your blog a bit ever since Greg C. posted about you in an AA newsletter. I was in grade 7 or 8 when you were in grade 12. Not nearly as cool. :) But the same amount of time has passed for you since then as it has for me. Your letter is very important. Since April I have been afflicted with some sort of fatigue-related illness, not too serious but it’s given me a lot of cause for reflection and learning about what is important, as well. Thanks for sharing so eloquently.

    Hi Zac,

About 3 years ago I sent you a link regarding healing of the colon. Not sure if you remember or even read it. It may be timely now. The healer is Jesus. The text is the Essene Gospel of Peace, Book One. I know by my own life that Jesus healed me through reading this text. It’s one of my favorite gospels (even if it is gnostic.)

I wish you peace and happiness.

I first heard about your video from my best friend who attends Bible Baptist College in Missouri. She mentioned it in passing and said she would send me a link via facebook. I did not know what kind of impact it would have on me until I actually started to watch it.

I am now nineteen years old. Only a few months ago I was in a very bad accident, one that I should not have walked away from. I think that this was my first sign. What had happened was I had fallen asleep driving, went airborne, and my stopping point came when I hit a tree and flipped onto the roof of my tiny car. I came out of it with slight bruising on my forehead and a very small cut on my hand. There were a lot of signs regarding this occurrence. Just DAYS before my accident I had been talking with a religious co-worker and he had asked me “do you believe in God?” I answered by laughing it off and says “I will only believe again when I have a sign.” It would be foolish of me to think that walking away from that accident was not a sign. Not only was I perfectly fine, but as I was being checked over in the ambulance, Sarah McLachlan’s “Angel” was playing very quietly in the front of the vehicle. Coincidence…? I think not. A few weeks later I was car shopping and when I finally found one I took it to a family mechanic to have it checked out. After he drove it around he came back and said “there is some kind of Christian CD stuck in your CD player…” Coincidence? No way.

Since my accident I have been struggling to regain my footing with religion. I have had several talks with my best friend that told me about your video, and it is always helpful, but its just never quite enough. After watching your video I knew that something had changed inside of me. I felt as though you were speaking directly to me in a lot of the parts. You talk about how you want to meet new people and how you’d like to leave them better off than when you first met them. I just wanted to take the time to let you know that your story has truly and honestly left me better off.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for giving me the boost that I have needed.

    -Allison
