Flat Zac Classic
One of the cool things about having cancer is being able to watch the dichotomy of giving and receiving. We have been given so much over the past three months. Mandy and I made a decision early on: We would receive whatever was offered. For it is not just a blessing for us to receive, but also a blessing for those that give. And I do not want to refuse anyone the ability to give.
The latest iteration is something that looks to be quite fun. Some friends of mine have created a website to advertise the first annual Flat Zac Classic. At least two of my friends are going to participate in an Ironman competition on my behalf. The idea is to raise money and to continue this until I am cancer free. I frankly do not know who all is involved in this endeavor, but I am grateful to them all. The ones I do know that are involved are dear friends of mine.
