Arizona Bound
I am excited about an upcoming trip I get to go on with Mandy and the kids. We will be going out to Arizona for a week in July.
First, we will spend several days with my inlaws in Phoenix. After that we will spend the weekend in Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. I will also be speaking at Grace Community in Flagstaff on Sunday. Then back to Phoenix and back home.
I am grateful for the opportunity to travel — and thankful for the plane tickets from my inlaws, too. I am excited about going to In-N-Out and having real Mexican food. July may not be the best (coolest) month to visit Phoenix, but I trust the air conditioning will be working well.
The doctors have cleared the trip — only warning me to stay out of the sun and avoid sick people. It is because of the newness of my chemotherapy that I can do something like this. Future treatments may make travel largely impossible.
I hope to see many people that I have not seen in a while, including many readers of this blog. Everyone in Mandy’s family lives in the area so it will be great to see them all. The opportunity to speak at Grace is also very exciting. Please pray for my strength before, during and after the trip. And maybe I’ll see you in AZ!

Maxine and Stuart are visiting PHX now too and are looking forward to seeing you all. I’m so happy that you are able to travel – have a safe, fun, and wonderfully rejuvenating trip! All the best! George
