Shane has interesting points on leadership.

But, I'm not sure he has it totally right.

Leadership is learned - a baby may predisposed to be a leader through genes, but without parents and community nurturing the baby through adulthood, leadership qualities will never be developed.

How someone becomes a great leader is an interesting subject. There are so many variables that determine when someone crosses that threshold of being considered a great leader. Usually, it takes time and perspective to be able to make the final judgement.
