Thanks For The Shoes!
I read some cool things in the NewSpring breakroom this morning: thank-you letters from some of the kids who received shoes from our recent local missions experience. Here are some excerpts:
- “When I came in I didn’t know what was going on, but I was happy.”
- “My mom will be happy because she wont have to buy me some shoes.”
- “I like the shoes. The shoes are jumpy. The book bag is brown and big. I love my life.”
- “You’ve made a huge difference in the school district 5 and we are surely thankful for it.”
- “I have one question. Why did you give us all of those things? You all are really nice people and thank you again.”
That makes me happy!

Jumpy shoes FTW! Gotta love kids’ take on things and how differently they choose to word it.
That made me smile. Thanks for sharing.
makes all the work that week (and for Dave before that week!) sooo worth it! their smiles and hugs were awesome and are forever in my heart.
