- Batarangs — I do not see myself as a superhero, but it would be fun to throw these
- Vertical Chess Board — very nice
- Pin Clock — makes watching time fun
- Cell Phone Gun — not really — I don’t want one
Here are my choices for the dumbest gadgets of the week:
- Applause Machine — for the egotistical person on your list
- Lego Death Star — super awesome, but are you really going to pay $400 and then who knows how many hours to build it?
- Brass Knuckles Umbrella — words fail me
- Folding Kayak — in case you need to get away slowly and stealthily through the ocean
- See-Saw Bike — good way to get a headache
- Hal 9000 Cut-Out — kind of cute, but will inevitably kill you
- Lightbar Watch — in case you want to take your sweet time to determine what time it is
- USB-powered Lunch Warmer — maybe this is not dumb, but I don’t like leftovers; plus it is called a “launch” bag
- Cell Phone Strap + Hand Warmer — this is just dumb… and the English on this site is funny
- Awethumb — help for your texting thumbs
And here is a special dumb thanksgiving gadget:
- Oilless Turkey Fryer — to fry means to use heat and some sort of oil or fat — oilless frying is an oxymoron
